Resin Art

Using a wood cut out, I add a mixture of acrylic paints and a flo medium (this helps the paint to travel easily across the wooden piece). I then pour this mixture on to the wood, tilt, shake and swirl the piece until it is completely covered. After that strenuous workout, the piece then dries for two days. Next the messy process of covering it with resin begins. Resin is a glass like coating that is used as a topcoat, and poured over the piece until it is completely covered, taking three to four days to dry. Wall hanging hardware is then applied.
